Loyalty PCI Merchant Relationship Manager

Enables PCI-compliant merchants to generate a unique Chase reference number for a credit card account

Overview

The Loyalty PCI Merchant Relationship Manager API allows merchants to create and establish a common identifier, the Chase Reference Identifier (CRI), for individual card accounts. The CRI can then be used in subsequent API calls to uniquely refer to the specific accounts. This enables merchants to link cards to Chase loyalty programs.

The API provides wrapper services for merchants to perform an initial lookup or to create a common identifier.

Key features and benefits

  • Allows PCI-compliant partners to create a unique Chase reference identifier for a given card number
  • Enables developers to easily code API wrappers using a common identifier, the Chase Reference Identifier (CRI)
  • Allows for later integration of Chase Pay with Points

Use cases

  • Card number encryption via Chase Reference Identifier: Create a unique Chase reference number for a given card account. You can then use the identifier in subsequent API calls to uniquely refer to that account.
